My doctor is the nicest smartest most caring doctor ever but his staff are a bunch of idiots. Yesterday he had me fill out a couple of mood questionnaires and was shocked and concerned at my answers and wants me immediately on medication and says I need to see a psychologist urgently. He never breaks a sweat or gets nervous and yesterday was the first time I ever saw him worried.

So he tells me his office will call in the morning to get a referral for me to see a psychologist as soon as possible but they need to know my insurance which I had forgotten/lost my card yesterday. So his office calls today [at like 4 p.m. ugh] and asks what insurance I have and I tell them and the lady is like 

her : “Okay your insurance is the same that’s all we needed.”

me: “I thought I needed to talk to someone about making an appointment?”

her: “No we just needed your insurance information for next time you come in”

me: “I do not have an appointment for next time, I do not know who I am supposed to be seeing or when. The doctor thought this was quite urgent yesterday, I don’t know what I am supposed to do without any information.”

her: “Here I will transfer you.”

And now I just left a message on the machine. So unhelpful.
